On the 17th of March we put up an exhibition of Irish blessings made by students of ESO and Bachillerato. An Irish blessing is a short popular poem of good wishes that started as far as the 5th century. St. Patrick was the patron saint of Ireland. He was born in a wealthy Roman family in the 4th century. At the age of sixteen he was kidnapped and turned into a slave. During six years he worked as a shepherd and found God. As a priest, the legend said that he used the three-leaved shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity.
